[summit-announce] New Summit MX Drivers Posted

Xi Graphics is pleased to announce the release
of updated Summit MX 2.1 drivers.  Here are the names
of the new tar files:

Summit_MX-Silver-2.1-8-LINUX.tar
Summit_MX-Platinum-2.1-8-LINUX.tar

Summit_MX-Bronze-2.1-8-Solaris.tar
Summit_MX-Gold-2.1-8-Solaris.tar
Summit_MX-Platinum-2.1-8-Solaris.tar
Summit_MX-Silver-2.1-8-Solaris.tar

These drivers can be downloaded from the following
directories for Linux and Solaris, respectively:

The following are the changes that have been made
to these drivers:

- vertical screen wrap fixed

- corrected an initialization problem seen on some Matrox G450 cards

- corrected several multihead problems with Matrox cards 

- fixed a bug in ogl.mod where if the secondary texture needed a RQ
  coordinate, but not the first one, an illegal vertex format would be
  used and eventually dump core.

- changed *-tvtuner into *-television for V4L compat (XVideo)

  - also changed endcoding ids to be 0 based

- fixed problem in XDA that should improve display list performance

- scrollwheel changes throu Xsetup can be changed on the fly without
  restarting X.

- fixed config problem with extended devices (bad Xaccel.ini
  writeback)

- fixed problem with some VTK apps that would cause an application core

- fixed keypress/release problem with XKB

- fixed spanish keyboard layout

- updated logic for stencilTest/depthTest for all drivers (Java3D
  problem)

- fixed HP laptop xqa-files (added TVout)

- enabled saveunders/backing store for overlays
