The game is quite playable now on Radeon 7500 and 8500 drivers - Fixed some texturing problems in the R100 driver seen in UT2003 - corrected locks on Radeon cards (especially the 9000) that occured in some scenarios using the RENDER extension - corrected problem in solid color handling - OpenGL context management improvements - Fixed a display problem with some laptops that have a 1400x1050 LCD and MOBILITY RADEON chipsets - Matrox fixes and enhancements - added hardware RENDER support. - fixed a few overlay problems - fixed a pixmap cache thrashing problem that could cause dramatic slowdowns when using KDE if your pixmap cache is nearly full. There is still a little more work to be done here. - Fixed a crashing problem seen with the Magic program. - Fixed a image caching problem with 16MB cards. - core fixes and enhancements - Fixed a crash that resulted from using the DBE extension if not enough offscreen memory was available. - fixed bug that under certain circumstances, could cause the wrong texture coordinates to be fetched. - corrected VT handling code so that 2D operations can still render when the server is switched away. All 3D clients are still suspended until the server is switched back. - Fixed some problems relating to buffer reads with GLXPixmaps and GLXPbuffers. - Improved RENDER performance in certain cases. - Corrected problems with Celetstia and OpenUniverse with mipmap generation in libGLU, if generic compressed textures were used. - xglinfo now correctly reports information on multisampling buffers - added hardware RENDER support to Matrox GXX cards and Intel i830 and i845 chipsets. - r128 supports GL_EXT_texture_env_combine. - corrected a generic lockup problem with Maya.
