[summit-announce] Summit 2.2-7 is now available

        Xi Graphics is pleased to announce update 2.2-7 of it's Summit
server products.  The updates are free and do not require new licenses.

        New Linux Summit packages can be found at

        Solaris Summit packages can be found at
        ftp://ftp.xig.com/pub/Summit/solaris/

        The following is a snippet from the release notes that describe
the changes for this version:

2.2-7 11/19/2002
      [2.2.2-09/2.2.2-07 (2.2-7)]

- New Support

  ATI Mobility RADEON 9000
  Dell Inspiron 8200 (with ATI 9000m)
  Sager 8880 Laptop with Mobility RADEON 7500

- Updated support

  Trident Blade3D - Now supports OpenGL 3D Hardware Acceleration.  We
  are still waiting on Trident so we can add 3D support to it's other chips.

- corrected an xdmcp keepalive problem that could cause failure after
  some 49.7 odd days of uptime.

- corrected a keyboard problem that could cause a crash under certain
  circumstances.

- updated Wildcat display code to allow seperate refresh rates for
  each monitor in DualView modes.

- added interlaced video modes to the Wildcat driver

- corrected some issues with 1400x1050 panels.  If you have one of
  these panels, and run into problems with this release, please
  contact support@xxxxxxxx

- updated installation to work around some SuSE 8.x silliness with
  regard to their hacked up startx/xinit scripts.

- text restore problem with large resolutions on Intel i830 chips fixed.

- Xsetup

  - fixed problem that truncated font entry lines
  - added code to try to alert the user when a server restart will be
    required to enable certain configuration options.
