The following is a snippet from the release notes describing new support, enhanced support and bug fixes present in this release (notes for 2.2-18 are also provided since no release announcement was made):

2.2-19 (all packages)

- corrected some issues in pixmap caching behavior

- corrected problem where the server might randomly crash if pixmap
  caching was disabled in Xaccel.ini.

- corrected some resource allocation problems in the Matrox driver

- New Xaccel.ini option: GLXExtension = YES | NO

Allows GLX to be specifically disabled on Gold and Platinum drivers

- Corrected issue with clients being killed under very obscure
circumstances. Most people would not have seen this problem
  (discovered internally by QA).

- Corrected problem that prevented PEX extension from loading properly.

- Corrected a problem where using a PEX application under heavy load
  could cause a server crash.

- added Logitech Optical Pilot Mouse DCF.

- corrected potential memory leak in synaptics driver.

2.2-18 (all packages)

- corrected 2 problems with Xentera cards

  - corrupted cursor
  - lockups when configured as AGP. PCI is always forced on these
cards now, regardless of AGP setting.

- corrected LED 'flashing' bug when using USB keyboards under Solaris 9.

- fixed some timing problems in the Solaris input subsystem.

- Corrected an interactivity problem seen with some cards in
  multi-processor systems.

- re-added the ability to configure the maximum number of supported
client connections. The default is 128. To increase the number of
supported client connections, edit /etc/Xaccel.ini and add the
following under the '[SETTINGS]' section (create it if it does not
  exist):

MaxClients = <number>;

Where number is 32, 64, 128 (default), 256, 512, or 1024.

- new xinerama implementation that should work with Solaris. Main
issue here is that unlike XFree/X.Org servers, we support multiple
xinerama screens, which confuses some client implementations. The
Solaris implementation of Xinerama was different than normally
shipped on Linux systems as well.

- fixed touchscreen calibration enumeration bug when configuring
multiple touchscreens in a multihead system.

- fixed some decoding bugs in 3M TouchSystems (tmt) driver

- synaptics fixes:

  - now supports linux 2.6.x /dev/input/event* evdev subsystem.
  - corrected problem with scroll buttons that would only allow one
    scroll event per key press.
  - add support for those touchpads that support a seperate 'scroll
    pad'.

- rewritten Wacom Intuos driver. This driver now supports multi-mode
operation and can support a separate XInput device for each tool.

If you wish to use the old behavior, where all tool events are
multiplexed over a single set of valuators on a single XInput
device, select the 'Wacom Intuos (All Tools)' item in Xsetup.

- The mouse 'scroll button mode' option now defaults to sending button
4/5 events, in line with what most applications that support wheel
mice expect. If you prefer the old behavior of having the
scroll wheels emit Up/Down Arrow events, you will need to
  specifically configure this in Xsetup.

- Xsetup now supports 'keyboardless' touchscreen calibration with the
  following options:

-calibrate

Calibrate the first touchscreen

-calibrateInstance <instance>

Calibrate touchscreen instance number <instance>, starting from
number '1' for the first touchscreen.

-calibratePoints <points>

Specify the number of calibration points per axis (should be >
      1). Default is 4.

-calibrateTimeout <seconds>

Specify the timeout in seconds before the calibration aborts if
there no further input is detected. Default is 120 seconds.

Xsetup will exit with status 0 if calibration was sucessful, or exit
with non-zero status if the calibration was aborted or failed. If
the the calibration was succesful, the settings are written to the
Xaccel.ini file and are immediately activated in Accelerated-X.

For systems with multiple touchscreens, the calibration screen and
view are taken from the values configured in the Xaccel.ini.

Thank you for choosing Accelerated X!
