| A number of pc manufacturers - Dell, Compaq, HP, and Gateway for starters - and motherboard manufacturers use this chip in their corrent product lines. The chip is a strong performer, even though it uses system RAM memory (up to 128 MB) for video memory.
To try one of the four Summit DX Series demos - Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum, on a box with the embedded chip, select the "Intel i865 generic" driver during install. The demo has a 25 minute timer that stops the X server, but it can be restarted any number of times.
License Keys (one required per computer) can be purchased on-line and e-mailed directly to you. The Key, when installed in the demo, turns off the timer, making the product permanent.
