Wrokstation (WX) Series in the Accelerated-X Summit product line provides graphics and X server support for the high-end graphics hardware and for the systems that require special features. Some highlights are listed below. A Summit Manual is available in pdf form for download.

High-end graphics hardware is available in many configurations and degrees of capability. Supporting the abilities of the hardware features on the higher-end graphics cards usually involves much more initial work in development and more (free) after-sale support. Not only are the features of the graphics chips increasing at a rapid clip, but the output features on the higher-end cards cards are also more varied and capable. And, the users of such hardware is often more demanding when it comes to the quality, correctness, and stability of the graphics drivers. The Workstation Series was created to include support for this class of hardware and user.

| Silver and Platinum Editions are Available in the WX Series - Silver is 2D only, while Platinum also supports OpenGL. Most of the differences between the two editions are server related, and some cards/drivers/servers might not support some of the features listed below for the specific card in consideration.
